Water is an extremely important element in everyone’s life.

In my photographs I try and portray some of it’s inherent characteristics.

When water comes into contact with objects it can literally give life but also, visually it can bring objects to life. Objects become saturated, they radiate and express themselves with colour and gain an added dimension.
I enjoy the contrast that water gives between wet and dry.

Water gives me space and a degree of escapism. I admire and I am drawn towards it, as you are when standing at the edge of a cliff, similarly I fear and respect it as well.

When I was younger I used to swim for my school, I drink a lot of water and I wash regularly!!
